What is UBC Game Dev?

We are a student-run game development club comprised of programmers, artists, writers, designers, and musicians. Through us, you can form a team with members of different disciplines and plan your own projects.

We are open to UBC and non-UBC members!

When does the club meet?

We meet every Wednesday at 6-8PM at the Hebb Building (HEBB) room A101, and every Friday at 6-8PM at HEBB A101.

What type of events do you host?

We host weekly team meetings, workshops, game nights, and other fun activities to expand your game development horizons, and other social events to help you bond with other members.

Do you need experience?

No experience is required! You don’t even need to know that much about game development to join UBC Game Dev. Throughout the semester, there will be plenty of workshops to teach you valuable information, and you have both execs in the club and experienced members there to help you.
