You play as a kid who's trying to c ope with the passing of his parents. You will traverse through your old home in your dreamscape, familiar but now swarmed with monsters, and defeat your inner demons one room at a time. This demo includes the first level only, which takes place in the kid ’s bedroom. The monsters are shadows ; you need to use yo ur shadow to fight them! You start with the nightlight in your hand. While the nightlight is in your hand, you cannot move. You need to place the light b y right - clicking at a location o f your choosing. The placement of the light is crucial to your success in this game, as the position of your shadow depends on the position of the light. You can always retrieve the light by right - clicking and then place it at a new location in the same way.

Use WASD to move and left - click to swing your sword! Remember that it is the shadow of your sword that can kill the enemies . You can also press Space for a small dash to get you out of tough situations.
